Bryan Danielson was recently pulled from the upcoming WrestleCade event.
On November 14th, Bryan Danielson and WrestleCade would announce that headliner for the convention from November 24th to November 26th. The news was broken on Danielson’s Instagram story.
While the convention would offer replacement meet and greet tickets for those who paid to see Danielson and refunds for anyone not willing to avail of this offer.
Bodyslam.net sources have confirmed to us that Danielson’s current broken orbital bone injury was cited as the reason for Danielson withdrawing from the event and while AEW were working on a replacement, that did not come to pass. The issue was originally brought up two weeks ago as Danielson was supposedly unable to fly, but is now being advertised for Dynamite and Collision the week of WrestleCade.
Danielson is currently scheduled to compete in the Continental Classic this winter, a round robin 12 man tournament in All Elite Wrestling.
In an Instagram comment, the convention noted the amount of money that they had lost on promotional material for Danielson’s appearance.
We will have to wait and see if WrestleCade will be able to rebook Danielson for 2024.
