Kenny King has just wrestled his last match…for IMPACT Wrestling anyway.

Fightful Select is reporting that:

Kenny King asked for and was granted his release by IMPACT Wrestling this week.

King finished up at the October tapings for IMPACT effectively, and the IMPACT World Tag Team Title Match against Ace Austin & Chris Bey is set to be his last match in the company for now, we’re told.

Kenny King has been used consistently on screen and took on sort of a mentor role with Sheldon Jean in IMPACT, so it will be interesting to see what happens with Jean creatively moving forward. King most recently held the IMPACT Digital Media Title.

Bodyslam will provide more information if Kenny King signs somewhere else.
