Shayna Baszler reflects on a previous spot she did in WWE that also involved “The Man” Becky Lynch.
In the lead up to WrestleMania 36, Shayna Baszler and Becky Lynch would be embroiled in a rivalry for the RAW Women’s Championship.
During the buildup to the event on an episode of RAW, Shayna would bite into the neck of Lynch in a vampire like moment.
However, it turns out the desired comparison was of former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson.
Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Baszler reflected on the memorable moment.
“They wanted something that would make me trend on Twitter. It worked. I was like, ‘I mean, I have this gnarly arm stomp.’ They were like, ‘No, no, no.’ We want you to be like the Mike Tyson of the division.’ I was like, ‘You think they’re gonna think Mike Tyson after this? Okay. You got it.’ But I trended on Twitter, so who am I to say?”

Baszler is still a member of the Monday Night RAW roster and most recently challenged for the WWE Women’s World Title back at WWE Crown Jewel.
