DDT Pro-Wrestling superstar Tetsuya Endo formed the fourth incarnation of the faction BURNING in late 2021 after receiving an endorsement from Kenta Kobashi. Kobahsi gave Endo permission to use the name BURNING as Kobashi originated the faction back in 1998.
Endo enlisted Jun Akiyama, Yusuke Okada and Yuya Koroku to comprise the new BURNING faction.
Jun Akiyama announced that he will be departing BURNING at the end of this year.
During a press conference on November 22nd, Tetsuya Endo reported Jun Akiyama’s departure to Kenta Kobashi who offered encouragement. Endo also stated that he will win the King D (D-OH Grand Prix 2023 tournament) and will make BURNING event bigger>
It has been two years since Mr. Kobashi gave us the name BURNING, but the reality is that we have not been able to produce results. It was decided that the three of us would do it. BURNING will also start from scratch, so as the leader, I will win the King D championship and make BURNING even bigger.

The DDT Pro-Wrestling D-OH GRAND PRIX 2023 tournament is set to kick off on November 26th at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and will conclude on January 3rd.
Tetsuya Endo is in the A Block of the D-OH GRAND PRIX 2023 and will face HARASHIMA in the opening round on December 2nd.
