AEW Star Jack Perry Reportedly No Longer Suspended, Files Trademark for “Jungle Boy”
Yesterday, Jack Perry officially filed to trademark the “Jungle Boy” nickname.
Jack Perry is a former FTW Champion & AEW Tag Team Champion with Luchasaurus as part of the team Jurassic Express.
The trademark includes:
Hats; Shirts; Bandanas; Shirts and short-sleeved shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts.
Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.
Perry has been absent from the company since August, as he was suspended indefinitely following a backstage fight with CM Punk at AEW All In.
In October, it was believed by PWInsider that the AEW roster didn’t think Perry was suspended any longer, however, nobody was able to officially confirm that…until now.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp during a recent Q & A session on Fightful Select, somebody asked if there was an update on Jack Perry, and it was stated that Perry is “no longer suspended.”
This trademark makes it seem like he’s in his way back soon, but that has yet to be confirmed. We’ll have to keep watching to see if Perry makes a return soon.
