Konosuke Takeshita gets the match he wanted.
Back on November 14th while Konosuke Takeshita was flying back to the USA after competing at DDT Pro’s Ultimate Party 2023 against Chris Jericho, he began thinking about who his next opponent should be when he returns to DDT Pro-Wrestling. Takeshita decided that he wanted that match to be against Naruki Doi.
DDT Pro-Wrestling was more than happy to oblige as they have made that match official. On January 28th at the famed Korakuen Hall, it will Konosuke Takeshita going one on one with Naruki Doi in a special singles match.
This will be the first ever singles match up between Konosuke Takeshita and Naruki Doi.
Konosuke Takeshita is currently a major star for both AEW and DDT Pro-Wrestling.
Naruki Doi is a freelancer who competes for DDT Pro, AJPW, Dragongate, and BIg Japan Wrestling. Doi is a former DDT Universal Champion, AJPW Jr Heavyweight Champion and has held numerous titles for Dragongate.
