On December 6th, Katsuhiko Nakajima & Hokuto Omori were crowned the winners of the All Japan Pro-Wrestling Real World Tag League 2023 as they finished with a tournament leading 12 points. The tournament victory earned them a shot at the current AJPW World Tag Team Champions Jun & Rei Saito.
AJPW has announced that Jun & Rei Saito will defend the AJPW World Tag Team Championship against Katsuhiko Nakajima & Hokuto Omori on January 14th at New Year Giant Series 2024. A press conference was held for the title match with both teams in attendance.
Katsuhiko Nakajima & Hokuto Omori hold a victory over Jun & Rei Saito as they defeated them on November 23 in a Real World League 2023 tournament match. Nakajima is also set to defend his Triple Crown Title against rival Kento Miyahara on December 31 at #ajpwMANIAx 2023.
