Kenny Omega is out of action indefinitely after being hospitalized.
Omega revealed that he was going to be out of action indefinitely earlier today on social media when he posted a picture of himself in the hospital hooked up to an IV. At the time the reason for Omega’s hospitalization was not known, other than Omega stating that he had been trying to fight through the pain for as long as he could, but was unable to do so any longer.
In an updated, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has revealed the reason for Kenny Omega’s hospitalization. Sapp stated that Omega has been hospitalized and diagnosed with diverticulitis. It was added that Kenny had been ill throughout the week, even prior to his match with Ethan Page. Following Omega’s promo on this past Wednesday’s Winter is Coming episode of Dynamite he sought medical attention and was then hospitalized.
We’re told Kenny had been ill throughout the last week, even ahead of his match with Ethan Page.
He still did the match and the promos, and sought medical attention after, where he was hospitalized and diagnosed with diverticulitis.
