Report: Andrade El Idolo Is Expected To Finish Up With AEW Following World’s End, Expected To Return To WWE

Is tonight the last night we will see Andrade in AEW?

According to a report by WrestlePurists, it appears that Andrade El Idolo will be finishing up his time with AEW following the company’s World’s End PPV event set for the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY on December 30th.

Andrade El Idolo is expected to be heading back to the WWE according to multiple sources within AEW as per WrestlePurists. Andrade’s return to the WWE is said to be imminent and could happen at soon as Day 1 RAW.

Andrade El Idolo left the WWE back in October 2020 and signed with AEW in July 2021. He is a former WWE NXT and WWE United States Champion.

Andrade would be following in the footsteps of Cody Rhodes, CM Punk and Jade Cargill as the latest superstar leaving AEW for the WWE. (CM Punk was terminated from his AEW contract and later signed with the WWE).

Andrade El Idolo is scheduled to face Miro at AEW World’s End is what could very well be his final match with the company.
