Avoid reading ahead if you don’t want any potential spoilers for tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
According to Fightful Select, four interesting names are in town and expected to be backstage during tonight’s special edition of WWE SmackDown: New Years Revolution.
Akam, Rezar, and Paul Ellering of the Authors of Pain are reportedly in Vancouver ahead of tonight’s show. AOP, alongside Ellering have been heavily teased to join the potential new faction, led by Karrion Kross and Scarlett. It was recently reported that the trio have been signed with WWE as far back as the latter half of 2023, despite not being featured on the company’s programming thus far.
In addition to AOP and Ellering, Olympic gold medalist, Gable Steveson has been seen in Vancouver ahead of tonight’s show. However, unlike the aforementioned trio, there’s no word or expectation on if Steveson will be appearing in any capacity on SmackDown.
