SBJ Projects WWE RAW to Land on Amazon Prime
WWE could be landing on Amazon Prime.
During their annual media rights projections, Sports Business Journal predicted WWE to have their media rights land with Amazon, when it pertains to Monday Night RAW.
“Amazon gets ‘WWE RAW’ rights and keeps the series on Monday nights. This hits an audience of young males, a demo where Amazon believes it sees growth in Prime subscriptions. Plus, it gives the company another night of live programming on Prime Video.“

While SBJ projecting Amazon to acquire RAW’s rights, there are still projected to be several companies in the mix whether it be Disney, NBC Universal, or a sleeper network that’s currently unknown.
When it comes to financials, it’s being projected that WWE will be earning anywhere from $387 million to $400 million per year from whichever network that brings WWE’s flagship show on board.
NBC recently acquired the rights to broadcast SmackDown on USA Network (RAW’s current home) from 2024 through 2029 for an estimated $287 million per year. NXT was recently brought on by the CW Network for a $20-$25 million annual figure beginning in October 2024.
BodySlam will continue to provide any updates on WWE and their media rights as they become available
