Tony Khan, Jinder Mahal Throw Jabs in Hilarious Twitter Exchange
Tony Khan and Jinder Mahal are trading verbal jabs.
During the 1/8 episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, former WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal confronted current World Heavyweight Champion, Jinder Mahal. Following the exchange, it was announced that the pair will compete in a title match, next Monday night for Rollins’ World Title.
However, the upcoming title match isn’t something that sits right with AEW President, Tony Khan. The leader of All Elite Wrestling took umbrage with fans seemingly taking issue with FTW Champion, HOOK calling out AEW World Champion, Samoa Joe, this past weekend on Collision, while, according to Khan, the same fans are clamoring for Mahal’s upcoming match against Rollins.
Khan says HOOK has compiled a terrific record in AEW, while Mahal hasn’t won a match in over a year, which shows that HOOK’s title opportunity is much more earned than Mahal’s.
‘The Modern Day Maharaja’ responded to the AEW President, asking who HOOK is, before asking fans to tune in next Monday night when he challenges Rollins for the WWE World Title.
BodySlam will continue to monitor any more social media beefs between AEW and WWE executives and stars as they happen.
