Samoa Joe has a new title on the way.
According to Fightful Select, All Elite Wrestling is preparing a new AEW World Championship belt. Per the report, the belt is set for a cosmetic overhaul, coupled with a pair of new side plates for Samoa Joe’s World Title.
“There was discussion of debuting the new AEW World Championship title belt tonight in Jacksonville. There are several cosmetic changes that were made to the title belt, including side plates.”

The belt swap comes after MJF famously held the ‘Triple B,’ which saw the original AEW World Championship plates on a customized Burberry strap, which of course, the now-former AEW World Champion is famous for.
