The TNA roster is not done with the overhaul just yet.

Going into the TNA rebrand – which starts with Hard To Kill this Saturday – Scott D’Amore said there would be a “shakeup talent-wise.”

On December 18th, Scott was on Busted Open Radio and hyped a big new signing, stating:

“We’re right there at the goal line of finalizing one of the biggest signings in #TNA. I think it’s something that’s really going to shake things up.

I think some of what we have in store [at Hard To Kill] is going to blow your socks off.”

A few days ago, some context was given to PWInsider.com on this statement.

“The Scott D’Amore teased signing is not a new member of the Knockouts division”

This is very unfortunate because one of their top Knockouts – Deonna Purrazzo – just left via free agency, and Trinity is reportedly headed back to WWE after her contract with TNA is up later in January.

Yesterday, the publication (PWInsider.com) also made mention that:

“The belief among those spoken with at TNA is that at least one former WWE name is coming in for Hard To Kill this Saturday in Las Vegas.”

Matt Riddle – currently in MLW and working some New Japan Pro Wrestling dates

Dolph Ziggler – showed up at Wrestle Kingdom 18, currently scheduled for NJPW Global Title match next month.

Shelton Benjamin –

Elias – Reinventing himself as ELIJAH

Mustafa Ali – planned dates with a bunch of different Indy companies over the next few months.

Top Dolla – scheduled to appear at TNA Hard To Kill for a LIVE debut of his new music video, “We Outside” with DJ Whoo Kid

Rick Boogs – recently announced his retirement.

In addition to this, Fightful Select is reporting that:

“We’ve heard that TNA does have multiple signings that are likely to be revealed in upcoming weeks.”

New signings for TNA are always great to see, it’s likely that some will be made clear coming out of this weekend with Hard To Kill PLE on Saturday and Snake Eyes TV taping on Sunday.

We will also see TNA tape their first set of tv tapings in many years just one week later as they take over Orlando, Florida on January 19th and 20th, which opens the door for some new talent to show up there as well. Lots of the former WWE talent live in the Orlando area due to the WWE Performance Center being located there.
