NXT North American Champion, Oba Femi makes his way down to the ring. Oba says growing up as a young Nigerian boy, he was always aiming to be the best athlete that he could be…and that’s not going to change in NXT. Oba says dominating NXT is in his destiny, but Dragon Lee’s music hits and out comes the now-former North American Champion. Lee says he could be angry about what happened last week but Oba saw an opportunity and rightfully took it. Lee says Oba has made the fastest impact that he’s ever seen in NXT and holding the North American Title holds a massive amount of weight. Lee asks Oba if he’s going to continue the tradition of the open challenge, then he’s going to be the first challenger…tonight.

Oba simply says no and says open challenges are now closed. Lee says he’s deserved a rematch and he wants it at Vengeance Day. Oba says Lee doesn’t get to decide how things go down anymore and swiftly makes his exit.
