WWE SmackDown (1/19) Viewership Rises with Roman Reigns Appearance
WWE SmackDown’s viewership is on the rise.
The Jan. 19 episode of WWE SmackDown is in the books. As WWE prepares for next weekend’s ‘Royal Rumble’ premium live event, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns returned to the blue brand, which likely helped this past Friday’s viewership number increase.
Per Programming Insider, Friday’s episode of SmackDown drew 2.329 million viewers, which is an increase from last week’s 2.267 million viewers who tuned in.
As previously mentioned, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns returned to WWE programming, last night, for a contract signing alongside Randy Orton, LA Knight, and AJ Styles, who’ll all be vying for Reigns’ Undisputed Title, next weekend at the ‘Royal Rumble.’ Kayden Carter and Katana Chance outlasted Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn of ‘The Unholy Union,’ to retain their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, Butch was finally ousted in favor of the Pete Dunne moniker, and more.
