Nick Khan Says WWE ‘Looking’ at Moving RAW to Different Night, But Remains on Mondays ‘For Now’

WWE isn’t locked into keeping ‘RAW’ on Monday nights.

Earlier this morning, it was announced that Netflix would be the new home of ‘Monday Night RAW,’ beginning in January 2025. The deal is for 10 years and $5 billion total, which is good for $500 million per year.

While ‘RAW’ has been a staple of WWE’s programming every Monday night since the first episode on January 11, 1993, it appears as if the company isn’t completely locked into the idea of keeping the show on Monday nights.

When speaking on ‘The Pat McAfee Show,’ WWE President, Nick Khan says while the idea is to continue broadcasting ‘RAW’ on Monday nights, the company is ‘looking’ at every possibility when the show moves to Netflix in January 2025, citing the massive competition of NFL Monday Night Football as a major reason.

“At this moment in time, it remains Monday Night RAW, but we’ve got 10 and a half months until this deal’s up and running, so we’re looking at you’re looking, and what everyone else is looking at.

“You have the proliferation of gambling with Monday Night Football. You have an enhanced Disney package, better games. You’ve got the ManningCast, you’ve got (MNF)… You also have the College National Championship, football AND hoops on Mondays.

“That said, even against Alabama vs. Michigan, and the Washington vs. Texas game, RAW did a .6 in the 18-49 demo, which is a massive rating against big competition. If we stay on Mondays, it’ll work. If we move it to a different day, we think it’ll work, too.”
