REPORT: ‘Very Possible’ For AEW to Have Cable/Streaming Hybrid with New Rights Deal
AEW could be in for a major change in 2024 and beyond.
According to Wrestling Observer’s Andrew Zarian, it’s ‘very possible’ that All Elite Wrestling will become a cable and streaming hybrid following a new broadcasting rights deal.
“A source mentioned to me that is very possible for AEW to become a cable/streaming hybrid show. Much like how the NBA simulcasts on TNT and Max.”

In December 2023, it was reported that Warner Bros. Discovery activated a one-year option on the network’s rights for AEW Dynamite, AEW Collision, and AEW Rampage, which would see their deal with All Elite Wrestling extend through December 31, 2024.
The one-year extension will give both AEW and WBD plenty of time to work out a new rights deal, which reportedly could include some of AEW’s programming feature on WBD’s ‘MAX’ streaming platform.
BodySlam will provide any updates on AEW’s status with a new broadcasting rights deal as they become available.
