Corey Graves, Wade Barrett Reportedly Set For New SmackDown Commentary Team
WWE continues to shake up the commentary booth.
According to PWInsider, Corey Graves will be getting his first duties as play-by-play announcer for main roster WWE commentary as former Intercontinental Champion, Wade Barrett will join him as color commentator for Friday Night SmackDown moving forward.
The reported news is the latest in a series of moves by WWE on their commentary teams as during last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Michael Cole announced that he and Pat McAfee would be the voices of the red brand beginning with last night’s show.
Former WWE commentator, Kevin Patrick was released by the company, last week, following his removal from SmackDown play-by-play duties.
WWE’s newest commentary teams will see Michael Cole and Pat McAfee in the booth for Monday Night RAW, Corey Graves and Wade Barrett on the call for Friday Night SmackDown, with Vic Joseph and Booker T remaining the voices of NXT every Tuesday night.
BodySlam will provide any updates on the status of WWE commentary changes as they become available.
