Add another reason why Kevin Owens is an absolute mad man (in the best way possible).
According to Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, Kevin Owens worked this past weekend’s ‘Royal Rumble’ premium live event with a fractured foot. Logan Paul defeated Owens to retain the United States Championship after Owens was disqualified for using Paul’s brass knuckles.
Per the report, Owens suffered the injury during the Jan. 5 episode of ‘Friday Night SmackDown’ in the midst of his victory over Santos Escobar. The injury didn’t stop Owens from appearing weekly on WWE programming leading up to his rumble match against Paul.
No official word on if Owens will be taking any time off following the ‘Royal Rumble.’
