Gunther Surpasses 600 Days as WWE Intercontinental Champion
Gunther continues to make history.
Following his successful title defense over Kofi Kingston during the Jan. 29 episode of ‘Monday Night RAW,’ Gunther continues to build up the longest Intercontinental Championship reign in WWE history as ‘The Ring General’ has surpassed 600 days as champion.
Gunther claimed the Intercontinental Title after defeating Ricochet during the June 10, 2022 edition of ‘Friday Night SmackDown.’ The leader of Imperium became the longest reigning IC Champion in the company’s history on September 7, 2023 when he jumped ahead of WWE Hall of Famer, Honky Tonk Man’s 454 days.
