*EXCLUSIVE* Bronson Reed Says Kazuchika Okada Going to WWE Would Be ‘Surreal’
Bronson Reed wants that rubber match with Kazuchika Okada.
BodySlam was on the scene in Tampa, Florida this past weekend for the ‘Royal Rumble’ premium live event. Ahead of the show, BodySlam’s Kyle Collison caught up with WWE star, Bronson Reed, who didn’t shy away from wanting the company to bring in seven-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Kazuchika Okada.
Reed faced Okada twice in New Japan Pro Wrestling, with the pair splitting their matches with one victory apiece.
“I think it would be huge. You never know how good somebody is until you step foot into the ring with them and I’ve heard for years and years that [Kazuchika] Okada is one of the best in the world. Once I actually got to wrestle him and be in the ring with him, it clicked and I was like ‘he definitely is one of the best.’ So, if WWE were able to acquire his talents, and you hear that coin drop, I think it’d be pretty surreal.”

On January 18, New Japan Pro Wrestling announced that Okada would be departing the company at the end of the month.
Earlier this week, Okada issued a statement, confirming his deal with NJPW has indeed expired on Thursday, February 1.
“Thank you for your support for 17 years of New Japan Pro-Wrestling! Thank you very much! I laughed, got angry, cried, and it was great! I look forward to the remaining three matches as a freelancer!”
