The Rock, Roman Reigns (2/2) SmackDown Segment Becomes Most Disliked YouTube Video of All-Time in Just Hours
The numbers are official for last night’s confrontation between The Rock and Roman Reigns.
On February 2nd’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Cody Rhodes was slated to make his WrestleMania 40 announcement, and pick the champion that he’d challenge in the main event of the 40th anniversary of the event. However, it was revealed that he wouldn’t be facing Roman at WrestleMania, and instead aided in the return of The Rock. Soon after, Cody chose to exit the ring, and left only The Rock and Roman Reigns to share the squared circle for the first time in over nine years.
The segment was quickly posted to various social media platforms soon after the broadcast went off-air, and it garnered WILD reactions from wrestlers, celebrities, and many others. Not only that, but after only 12 hours, over on the official WWE YouTube channel, it’s passed over two million views, with over 245,000 dislikes. It’s a telltale sign of how the WWE universe currently feels, from all across the world.
As the show went off-air, Roman and Rock continued their confrontation, as they stared down one another, before The Rock tried to send the fans home happy with a short promo.
This Thursday evening, there’ll be a ‘WrestleMania XL Kickoff’ Press Conference. It’s heavily hinted that this will be where the ‘dream match’ of The Rock vs. Roman Reigns will finally be made official. Nonetheless, we’ll just have to see. Time will tell.
BodySlam will continue to update all of you on this situation as it develops.
