Jeff Cobb Suffers Thigh Injury During NJPW Road to New Beginning Tour
Jeff Cobb is unfortunately sidelined.
During New Japan Pro Wrestling’s recent ‘Road to Beginning’ Tour, former NJPW Openweight Champion, Jeff Cobb suffered an apparent left thigh injury.
NJPW issued the following statement announcing Cobb’s injury:
“Thank you for supporting New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
Jeff Cobb, who was scheduled to compete on tonight’s card in Korakuen hall, has sustained an injury to his left thigh, and will be unable to compete tonight.
We apologise to fans who were looking forward to seeing Cobb wrestle and appreciate your understanding.
The following change has been made to tonight’s card:
6th Match
Jeff Cobb vs Alex Coughlin–>
5th Match
Great-O-Khan vs Alex Coughlin
The already scheduled Gabe Kidd vs HENARE bout will now be the sixth match of the evening.
NJPW joins fans in wishing Cobb a full and speedy recovery.”
