Jake Lee States That Kazuyuki Fujita Will Get First Shot At GHC Heavyweight Belt “When” He Regains It
Jake Lee is scheduled to challenge the current GHC Heavyweight Champion El Hijo De Dr Wagner Jr on March 31st at Pro Wrestling’s NOAH Star Navigation 2024 which is set for Korakuen Hall. Lee will be attempting to regain the title he lost to KENOH back in October 2023. A confident and possibly cocky Jake Lee has already named who his first challenger will be “when” he regains the title on March 31st.
In a new report from Tokyo Sports, Lee has nominated Kazuyuki Fujita as the first person who will challenge for the GHC Heavyweight Title should he be able to regain it. At GREAT VOYAGE 2024 in NAGOYA on March 2nd, Lee and Fujita battled each other for 30 minutes in a singles match that end in a time limit draw. As a result, Lee declared that Fujita will be his first challenger if he wins the GHC Heavyweight Title back from Wagner Jr.
Lee may be making a mistake as he seems to be looking past the current champion Wagner Jr. who will be making his first defense of the GHC Heavyweight Title after winning it from KENOH on February 4th. While Lee may have his first challenger already picked out, he needs to get past Wagner Jr first and quite frankly, that is not going to be an easy task.
