John Cena On Meeting Zac Efron: I Broke The Ice By Talking About Sports Entertainment And Once I Start, I Don’t Shut Up

John Cena recalls meeting Zac Efron for the first time.

During their time filming on the set of Ricky Stanicky, John Cena and Zac Efron had come from two different worlds. Cena is an all-time great in the world of WWE and Efron stepping foot inside the wrestling ring as Kevin Von Erich

While speaking with Indiewire. both Cena and Efron brought up how the world of sports entertainment sparked a conversation between the two on the set and how it broke the ice between both stars.

“I started it, and I always talk about it because it’s something that I love. Zac had just come off of finishing ‘The Iron Claw,’ and I’d seen pictures that got leaked, and I was very excited about what a story about the Von Erichs might look like. That’s kind of how I broke the ice with Zac. And once I start talking about sports entertainment, I don’t shut up,” said John Cena.

Cena also spoke about how he met AEW star MJF and how he jokingly said to him that maybe one-day MJF can join the right team over in the WWE.
