John Cena: I Believe Everything LA Knight Does, From His Mannerisms To His Story, He’s Not Afraid To Tell It

John Cena believes in the hype of LA Knight.

Before last year’s PLE event, Crown Jewel. John Cena made his return to the WWE and confronted Roman Reigns, many believing it would be another run for Cena at the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion, he would instead introduce the next true challenger for the gold, LA Knight.

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Cena was asked about Knight and what he thinks about them on the mic.

I like that preparation, I like that over preparation. I like that belief in self. He is authentically LA Knight. I believe everything he does. His mannerisms. His story is awesome. He’s not afraid to tell it. I got to see him mature just in the short time I was there. I got to be the ref for his match. To see the way he worked them to his philosophy in the tag match, and then to watch his matches after that. I could see him gain confidence, even in that short period of time. That’s what gets me to the edge of my seat and gets me going.”

Knight would go on to lose to Reigns at Crown Jewel, however, he walked out on his own and with the respect of every star in the back.
