Matt Cardona Believes A Potential Match Against Mick Foley Would Be The Biggest Match In Indie Wrestling History
Matt Cardona is determined to wrestle the Hardcore Legend.
It has been over a decade since Mick Foley last wrestled a match, but now Foley has been talking about losing weight and getting in shape to wrestle in his final match, this time in a death match.
Matt Cardona has reinvented himself since wrestling on the Indie circuit as the Indy God and the Deathmatch King. This is what Cardona had to say in his interview with Sports Illustrated about Foley’s last match.
“It’s no secret I’ve been politicking for this match. Go back to the Hammerstein ballroom a couple years ago, I was wearing a flannel that said ‘F— Mick Foley’. If he wants a deathmatch, it would only be fitting to have one against the deathmatch king. It would be the biggest match in the history of independent pro wrestling,” Cardona sai
It has not been determined yet when Foley will be having his final match or if he will at all. We will keep you updated on any news we hear at BodySlam on this situation.
