Rising HAYATO Wins The AJPW World Jr Heavyweight Title At Dream Power Series 2024
Rising HAYATO has finally won the title that had eluded him for the last few years. On March 9th, HAYATO defeated Dan Tamura at AJPW Dream Power Series 2024 to become the new All Japan Pro-Wrestling World Jr Heavyweight Champion for the first time in his career. HAYATO was able to hit his top rope moonsault finisher to put Tamura away in what was a fierce battle between both young stars.
The crowd was fully behind HAYATO as they cheered loudly when he finally won the championship he so desperately had wanted to be able to strap around his waist. He had failed multiple times in the past to win the title but on March 9th, he was finally able to refer to himself as the AJPW Jr Heavyweight Champion.
HAYATO’s celebration was interrupted by MUSASHI who made it known that he wanted to be the first challenger for the new champion. HAYATO quickly accepted the challenge and will make his first defense against MUSASHI in the near future.
