Mercedes Mone went into detail on what Sasha Banks stands for.
In the middle of 2022, Mone (FKA as Sasha Banks) left the WWE and decided to embark on a journey to prove to everyone what her worth is. Mone has gone on to compete for New Japan Pro-Wrestling and is about to make big business moves soon.
In a conversation with Kick Rocks podcast, Mone was asked to talk about what Sasha Banks means to her, this is what Mone had to say.
“A legend. An icon. A powerhouse. Someone who stands up for what she believes in. Is a legit boss. They got that trademark for a good reason. I played that role really good. A legit boss, inside and outside the ring, and will lay it all on the line. She has a heart full of gold. Sasha Banks, what a career. What an amazing career. The thing about that, it makes me even more excited to see what Mercedes Mone can do.”
Mone is reportedly expected to sign with All Elite Wrestling and debut on the March 13 edition of AEW: Big Business. Mone has not stepped in the ring since last May due to an ankle injury she suffered in a match against Willow Nightingale at NJPW Strong Resurgence.
