Kaito Kiyomiya Suffers Spinal Cord Concussion, Will Miss GHC Tag Title Opportunity
Pro Wrestling NOAH superstar Kaito Kiyomiya was all set to team with Ryohei Oiwa on March 17th to challenge the current GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Jack Morris & Anthony Greene at the Great Voyage 2024 in Yokohama event. Unfortunately for Kiyomiya, he suffered a spinal cord concussion during a practice session and will be forced to miss the title opportunity.
Due to the injury to Kiyomiya, Pro Wrestling NOAH has changed the GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Title match as it will now be Saxon Huxley & Timothy Thatcher who will challenge Jack Morris & Anthony Greene for the belts. Huxley and Thatcher were the runner ups in the NOAH Victory Challenge Tag League losing to Kiyomiya & Oiwa in the finals of that tournament. Huxley and Thatcher are former GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Champions.
Oiwa sent a message to Kiyomiya on X concerning about the situation:
Please take care of yourself! Heal up well and let’s challenge for the GHC Tag Team again!
Ryohei Oiwa (translated using Deepl)
Kiyomiya will participate in an autograph session prior to the March 17th event in Yokohama. He is expected to return on March 31st at the upcoming NOAH event scheduled for Korakuen Hall.

Bodyslam.net wishes Kaito Kiyomiya a speedy recovery.
