Jake Hager: I’m A Big Fan Of Will Ospreay, He Would Be Great To Wrestle, I Wouldn’t Mind Hangman Page In A Bar Fight
Jake Hager has expressed a desire to battle two of AEW’s biggest stars.
One of AEW’s biggest signees, the ‘Aerial Assassin’ Will Ospreay won in his first full-time match with All Elite Wrestling at AEW Revolution, it was also the same night where Hangman Page was submitted by Samoa Joe in a three-way also involving Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship.
In a conversation with Monopoly Events, AEW’s own Jake Hager talked about who he wants to battle next that now he’s back in the picture of competition, noting that Ospreay and Page would be opponents he’s excited to lock horns with.
“I’m a big fan of Will Ospreay. He’s amazing. He’s fun to watch and has such a personality. He would be great to wrestle. I also wouldn’t mind wrestling Hangman Page. It’s been four years now. We gotta figure this out one more time.”
“There you go. Bring it back.” was the response Hager had when asked if he would make the match with Page a bar room brawl.
The last match that Hager had was this past February where he would go on to lose to Roderick Strong on an episode of AEW Rampage.
Ospreay is set to battle ‘The American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson in a dream match at AEW Dynasty.
