Konosuke Takeshita States It’s A Dream Come True Being In The Same Organization As Kazuchika Okada, Says They Will Face Each Other One Day

Konosuke Takeshita has been a top star for both DDT Pro-Wrestling & AEW for quite some time. With the emergence of former NJPW superstar Kazuchika Okada as a full time member of the AEW roster, Takeshita is certain the two will face off against each other one day.

In a new report from Tokyo Sports, Takeshita has stated that it’s a dream come true for him wrestling for the same company as Okada. In addition, Takeshita discussed watching Okada battle Hiroshi Tanahashi for the IWGP Title back in February 2012 before he made his professional wrestling debut.

I was at the very back of the stands cheering for Okada while the audience booed loudly. Twelve years later, I’m in the same organization, and it’s a dream come true for me.

Takeshita also stated that he is looking forward to the day when he meets Okada in the ring for a one on one match which would be a dream come true for him.

With both superstars now a major part of the AEW roster, it’s safe to say that Takeshita’s dream match with Okada can be expected to soon become a reality.
