AJ Styles is happy to see his former stablemate potentially join the WWE.
During his time in New Japan, both AJ Styles and Tama Tonga were part of the group, the Bullet Club where Tonga was one of the OG leaders while Styles took over for former leader, Finn Balor (Prince Devitt) at the time.
In 2016, Styles left New Japan to sign with the WWE. Now, Tonga could be making the move to the WWE next.
“The sky is the limit,” AJ told Tim & Eli on Battleground when asked about Tama’s prospects should he come to WWE. “This guy can get after it. I know how good Tama is. The fact that he may be coming over would be awesome. I was hoping he would come over a long time ago, but he didn’t have any interest back then. If there is interest now, he’s making the right decision.”
Styles is set to battle LA Knight to settle their heated feud at WrestleMania 40.
