TKO Group to Pay $335 Million Settlement to Avoid UFC Fighter Pay Lawsuit From Going to Trial
The UFC will not be going to trial.
First reported by Variety, TKO Group’s latest SEC filings revealed that the company will pay $335 million in settlements to avoid going to trial in the latest lawsuit against the UFC due to fighter pay.
“On March 13, 2024, TKO reached an agreement to settle all claims asserted in both class action lawsuits for a total of $335 million payable in installments over a period of time. The terms will be memorialized in a long-form agreement and then submitted to the court for approval.”

The lawsuit alleges that Zuffa violated antitrust laws when paying UFC fighters ‘far less’ than they’re entitled. Former UFC fighters Cung Le, Jon Fitch, and Nate Quarry filed a complaint against Zuffa in federal court back in December 2014. Fellow former fighters, Brandon Vera, Luis Javier Vazquez, and Kyle Kingsbury later joined the lawsuit before Kajan Johnson and CB Dollaway did the same in 2021.
