According to Fightful Select, Matt Cardona is currently a free agent and working with TNA Wrestling on a per date agreement with the company.
“There has been much made about TNA offering per date deals or contracts to talent of late, which actually works to Cardona’s favor. He and the company parted ways over a year ago, as he did not wish to sign a contract with them. We reached out to Cardona, who confirmed he’s still a free agent and on a per appearances agreement. He said ‘Alwayz. Then. Now. Forever. Quote me on that.'”

During TNA’s latest set of TV tapings, Cardona’s protege, Steph De Lander made her return to the company. Cardona rushed to De Lander’s aid during the match, leading to speculation that the pair have returned to the company.
