Becky Lynch still wants her dream match to happen.
‘The Man’ has done just about everything she could to be labeled as one of, if not the greatest of all time in both the WWE and professional wrestling. However, she has one match that she considers a dream to happen.
Lynch spoke about how the one woman she wants to face in the ring still is Beth Phoenix, the ‘Glamazon’ of the WWE.
“I think it’s got to be in Dublin, Ireland. It’s got to be in Croke. I think my opponent, and this is a match I’ve been trying to get for a long time, would be Beth Phoenix. I’ve been trying to get her in the ring and whoop her ass for a long time. Now. It’s just not happening. I wan to know why is that? Why is that Beth Phoenix? Why won’t you fight me?” Becky pondered on SigningLive when asked about her dream match scenario.
The last time Phoenix stepped foot in the ring was for 2023’s Elimination Chamber alongside her husband Adam Copeland (Edge in the WWE). Her last singles match happened in 2012.
Lynch is set to challenge the Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40.
