AEW isn’t taking any chances in going up against WrestleMania 40.
First noted by Fightful, TNT’s programming scheduling has the Saturday, April 6 edition of ‘AEW Collision’ set to air at 11:30 p.m. EDT, in place of the usual 8:00 p.m. EDT time slot.
April 6 is, of course, night one of WrestleMania 40, and it appears as if Tony Khan and co. don’t want to rival WWE’s biggest show of the year.
AEW hasn’t shied away from going head-to-head with major WWE premium live events in the past as the company went up against ‘Survivor Series’ in November 2023 as well as this past January’s ‘Royal Rumble’ event.
