WWE’s latest edition of ‘Monday Night RAW’ (3/25/24) went down from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The Rock sent a quite brutal message to Cody Rhodes, CM Punk announced that he’ll be on commentary at WrestleMania 40, and more.

- Cody Rhodes kicked off the show. Cody ran down both Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns as well as The Rock. Before Cody could say too much, The Rock surprisingly interrupted ‘The American Nightmare’ to a MASSIVE pop. The Rock whispered something in Cody’s ear, which garnered quite a facial reaction from Cody before The Rock made his exit whilst laughing.
- CM Punk returned to his hometown of Chicago. Punk says one way or another, he’ll be at WrestleMania 40, albeit not in a wrestling capacity, since he’s not medically cleared to compete. Drew McIntyre interrupts Punk and takes a seat at the commentary table, refusing to enter the ring despite Punk asking him to do so. McIntyre says it’s funny that Punk is straight edge and never drinks or smokes but still finds himself always in rehab. WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins makes his way down to the ring. Rollins says he’d love for Punk to not be part of WrestleMania at all, but him either refereeing or commentating the biggest moment of his career would be intriguing. Rollins says Punk needs him to have any relevancy at WrestleMania and tells Punk he can do whatever he wants. Punk says he’ll join commentary for Rollins and McIntyre’s World Heavyweight Title match during night two of WrestleMania 40.
- Intercontinental Champion, Gunther is being interviewed by Cathy Kelley. Gunther tells Cathy that Sami Zayn won’t beat Bronson Reed, tonight, never mind beating him at WrestleMania.
- WWE Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley makes her way down to the ring, alongside Dominik Mysterio. Rhea says she doesn’t believe she’s getting enough attention heading into WrestleMania 40 and thinks Becky Lynch is getting all of the hype leading up to ‘The Showcase of The Immortals.’ Becky Lynch interrupts and says if Rhea wanted the same amount of attention as she gets, maybe she should start wrestling on ‘Monday Night RAW’ more often. Rhea says she’s resting in preparation for WrestleMania 40 and says she doesn’t need to prove herself week in, week out. Rhea says Becky reminds her of a cockroach because she’s hard to get rid of…but it’s not impossible. Rhea says she won’t go too hard on Becky at WrestleMania because she wants Becky to be able to sit down and do things with her daughter after Mania. Becky warns Rhea not to mention her daughter again and says neither her nor Rhea will be the same after WrestleMania. Rhea and Becky get in each other’s faces, Dominik Mysterio steps in and tries to separate them, Becky attacks Dominik, and the brawl between Rhea and Becky is on. Rhea cracks Becky with a pump kick then launches ‘The Man’ into the ring post before Dominik holds Rhea off from delivering anymore damage.
- Following the main event match, Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso are brawling backstage. Cody gets the upper hand but Solo Sikoa comes in to save his brother. Cody dispatches of Solo as well but The Rock enters the picture and he has his way with ‘The American Nightmare.’ Rock launches Cody into just about every wall, table, and door in the arena before sending Cody to the parking lot. Rock finds Cody’s travel bus and bashes Cody’s head into it numerous times. Cody’s busted open pretty badly, Rock continues the beatdown, and removes his weight belt, which reads ‘Mama Rhodes.’ Rock says he told Cody’s mom that he was going to force her son to bleed, then put his blood on the belt, and deliver it to her at WrestleMania 40, which he will now do since he’s a man of his word, as the show goes off the air.
