Miu Watanabe is the new Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling Princess of Princess Champion. The big title change took place on March 31st at the TJPW GRAND PRINCESS ’24 event. Over 2300 fans were on hand at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo to witness Watanabe become the new champion.
It wasn’t easy for Watanabe as she was engaged in a very hard fought battle with Yamashita. Watanabe was able to put Yamashita away with her Teardrop finisher to secure the pin and victory.
This was Yamashita’s fourth defense of the Princess of Princess Title. With her victory, Watanabe becomes the 14th holder of TJPW’s top championship.
