Damian Priest And Finn Balor: The Judgement Day Are The Real Deal, We Bring Out The Best In Each Other
The Judgement Day are proud of each other for the hard work they’ve put in.
Since WrestleMania 38, the Judgement Day has not only added layers to their own stories, but as a unit, they have dominated both the tag team scene, the women’s division, and the top of the food chain.
Dirty Dom is a former North American Champion. Finn Balor is a former Tag Team Champion. Rhea Ripley is the current WWE World Women’s Champion and Damian Priest is the World Heavyweight Champion.
During a recent interview, this is what Balor and Priest had to say about their faction and what they do better than others.
“That was the point of Judgment Day,” Damian Priest told Fightful. “It was all individuals that were capable of carrying the company, but for whatever reason, we weren’t there. It was, ‘Let’s push each other, let’s get together and get to where we need to be.’ That’s why we’re doing it, and it’s gratifying because we knew we could do this, it was just a matter of getting that extra push. That’s what we’re doing for each other.”
Balor added, “I think everyone had a little bit of a chip on their shoulder right before going into this faction. We all had a point to prove, not only to the world and the office, but for ourselves to say, ‘We are the real deal and we belong.’ United, we bring out the best in each other. We’re a very eclectic group. It’s been fun and has plenty more legs.”
Priest cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase on night two of WrestleMania 40 against Drew McIntyre to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
