ROH on Honor Club Results – 4/11/2024
Welcome to the first ROH on Honor Club following Supercard of Honor; we’ve got all your results right here!
Welcome to the first ROH on Honor Club following Supercard of Honor! We have a new Women’s World Television Champion in Billie Starkz, and a new ROH World Champion in Mark Briscoe!
We kick things off with a Supercard of Honor recap, followed up by the promo which aired on social media with Eddie Kingston and Mark Briscoe backstage splitting a six pack. If you didn’t see it, the gist is: if they’ll do this to each other, imagine what they’ll do to House of Black at AEW Dynasty.
MATCH 1 – Action Andretti def. Isiah Kassidy (w/ Marq Quen) with a split-legged moonsault in 9:56.
We get a Supercard post-match promo from both Undisputed Kingdom and The Infantry taped Friday night. Kingdom says they did it all themselves (drawing a sideways glance from Wardlow) and they say no one will take the titles from them with the big man in their corner. For their part, The Infantry says they had the Undisputed Kingdom on the ropes, and the champs needed Wardlow interference to survive. They’re going to keep coming for those titles and they’re not going anywhere.
MATCH 2 – Lee Moriarty & Shane Taylor def. Julian Ward and Kaz Jordan (Taylor pins Jordan) after the Marcus Garvey Driver in 3:36.
A video package aired about Billie Starkz winning the first ROH World Women’s TV Title at Supercard of Honor, including the segment afterward with Billie’s actual parents disapproving of the way she won the title, and Athena declaring herself Billie’s new mom. Tremendous.
MATCH 3 – Nyla Rose def. Kat Von Heez via a top rope splash in 3:10.
A video package aired about the ROH World TV Title match, where Kyle Fletcher retained over Lee Johnson. Then comments by both Lee Johnson and Kyle Fletcher.
MATCH 4 – Christopher Daniels def. Cole Karter with Angels Wings in 5:24.
Another video package about the Fight Without Honor between Dalton Castle and Johnny TV at Supercard of Honor, with post-match comments from Dalton (with Paul Walter Hauser). Hauser asks if the Boys are all orphans? He got orphan vibes. Lexy says she doesn’t think we can talk about that.
MATCH 5 – The Righteous def. Bryce Donovan and Chico Adams (Vincent pins Donovan) with Autumn Sunshine in 2:49.
A video package aired, covering the ROH Women’s World Title match from Supercard of Honor. Athena racked up another win, over Hikaru Shida, as her reign has eclipsed (see what I did there?) 489 days.
MATCH 6 – Anna Jay def. Lil Mean Kathleen (LMK) with a Gory Bomb in 2:26.
We then go to backstage comments from Mariah May after her match at Supercard of Honor, where she defeated STARDOM’s Momo Kohgo. She talks about wanting to make Toni proud after losing to Thunder Rosa, before she is interrupted by Mina Shirakawa. The two share a champagne toast.
We get one more video package of Mark Sterling talking up Josh Woods’ accomplishments, as the Premier Athletes (Woods, Tony Nese, Ari Daivari) are back in Ring of Honor.
MATCH 7 – Zak Knight def. Alvin Alvarez with a comeback lariat in 2:25.
One final video package on the night, as this one covers the Supercard of Honor main event, which saw Mark Briscoe capture the ROH World Title, defeating Eddie Kingston with the Jay Driller, 11 years to the day after Jay used the same move to defeat Kevin Steen to win his first ROH World Title.
MATCH 8 – Kyle Fletcher def. Rhett Titus with a kneeling piledriver in 5:06 in a ROH World TV Title Proving Ground match.
This week’s episode ran 1:06:45, and featured 34:52 of bell-to-bell wrestling. That means 52.2% of the episode was devoted to wrestling, from bell-to-bell.
Average match time was 4:21.
