Pro Wrestling NOAH GHC Heavyweight Title #1 Contender Match Set For Monday Magic Season 2 Finale

The current Pro Wrestling NOAH GHC Heavyweight Champion El Hijo del Dr Wagner Jr will find out who his next challenger will be on Monday April 22. Pro Wrestling NOAH announced that at the Monday Magic Season 2 finale, Kaito Kiyomiya will face Jake Lee in a match to determine the #1 contender for the GHC Heavyweight Title.

The match was set up by NOAH after Lee, who was unsuccessful in a title opportunity against Wagner Jr on March 31st, wanted another shot at regaining the GHC Heavyweight Title and Kiyomiya, who had just come off a big win over KENOH, proclaimed himself to be the one to lead NOAH going forward. NOAH made the match official with the winner facing Wagner Jr in the main event at Wrestle Magic on May 4th.

One could say Jake Lee has a psychological advantage over Kiyomiya as Lee defeated Kiyomiya for the GHC Heavyweight Title back in March 2023. It will be very interesting to see if Kiyomiya can avenge that loss to Lee and attempt to become a three time GHC Heavyweight Champion on May 4th.
