Grayson Waller thinks the New Day has run its course.
The New Day is one of, if not the greatest trio in WWE history. As a group, they are 11-time WWE Tag Team Champions, and Kofi Kingston and Big E have both won the WWE Championship at least once in their careers.
During a conversation on WWE’s The Bump, this is what the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions Austin Theory and Grayson Waller had to say about the legendary status of the New Day.
Austin Theory: [Laughs] The New Day?
Grayson Waller: New Day? Nah, I think we should, we need to change their name. It’s been too long. I think we need to start calling them the Old Day. The way they behaved at WrestleMania, they have a great entrance, they have great gear, but when they get in the ring with us, it’s a different story. I’m being honest. If they want to come find us, hey, maybe talk to Adam. Maybe find yourself with us in the draft. We’d love to fight The New Day and embarrass them because they’re one of the best tag teams of all time. How many championship reigns? All of them. They couldn’t beat us.
AT: That’s what’s going to happen. If The New Day faces us, they’ll be on the ground
Waller also wanted to note that now that he has won at WrestleMania, he is officially better than the Deadman, the Undertaker.
