- Jey Uso kicks off tonight’s show. Jey gets the entire crowd to chant ‘YEET!’ between every word he says. Jey says to prove to everybody that he’s exactly who he says he is, he needs to defeat Damian Priest at ‘Backlash,’ and become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The aforementioned Priest interrupts and compliments Jey’s appearance and recent winning streak. Priest says that he’s still the man to beat on Monday Night RAW and as long as he has the World Title, Jey, and nobody else is taking that from him. JD McDonagh tries to attack Jey from behind but Jey evades and super-kicks Priest after McDonagh ducked out of the way. Jey rolls out of the ring as Priest looks incensed from the ring.
- Following Imperium’s loss against New Day, Gunther is visibly upset at both Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. Kaiser attacks Vinci and seemingly kicks him out of the group as Gunther smirks in approval.
- Drew McIntyre makes his way down to the ring. Sheamus quickly interrupts McIntyre and says he hates to see where McIntyre has gone mentally as all he does now is complain. McIntyre says before his injury, Sheamus had banger after banger after banger but now seeing his body, it’s seemingly burger after burger after burger. McIntyre says he’s done talking to Sheamus but will stay out at ringside to watch his match against Shinsuke Nakamura.
- Chad Gable is joined by Akira Tozawa, Maxxine Dupri, and Otis in the ring. Gable says it’s time for him to move on from Alpha Academy and says it’s time for a new Chad Gable.
