Jeremy Flynn has been appointed as the new Director of Live Events. Prior to this role, Flynn enhanced his expertise in event management as the Senior Director of Marketing, Live Events at Professional Bull Riders. He brings a solid educational background to the table, holding both an MBA in Business Administration and a BBA in Marketing from the University of Central Arkansas.
This appointment follows the departure of Rafael Morffi, who served as the Vice President of Live Events/Touring at AEW from June 2019 until December 2023. Morffi has moved on to a new opportunity at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
In a nod to his successor, Morffi has publicly endorsed Flynn on his Linkedin page, signaling confidence in Flynn’s capabilities to steer AEW’s live events successfully. Flynn himself has confirmed the accuracy of Fightful’s report, marking a new chapter for AEW’s live event strategies under his leadership.
