There has been further unfortunate news regarding Powerhouse Hobbs’ injury.
This past weekend, Fightful Select reported on the severity of Hobbs’ injury. According to their sources, Hobbs requires surgery, which is scheduled to take place very soon, if it has not already occurred.
The injury occurred last week during an AEW Dynamite event. Hobbs was competing against Jon Moxley for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship when he got injured. The match had to be stopped prematurely because of this.
Bryan Alvarez from Wrestling Observer later confirmed that the injury was indeed serious.
