Mike Bailey is one of the best in the world, and currently signed to TNA Wrestling. He’s all over the place when he’s not on TNA television, so it’s no surprise that much respect has been put on Mike Bailey’s name.

Bailey signed with TNA at the end of 2021 after a match with Josh Alexander. Bailey lost the match, but after it was over, former TNA President Scott D’Amore presented Bailey with a contract, which he signed literally on the back of Josh Alexander.

Mike Bailey debuted with TNA in January of 2022 (formerly IMPACT Wrestling) at the Hard To Kill PPV as part of the Countdown To Hard To Kill pre show in a four way match between Bailey, Chris Bey, Ace Austin, and Laredo Kid.

In an article with Sports Illustrated, Bailey comments on what is going through his mind and who he’d like
to face during this contract year.

“I’m making the most out of every opportunity given,” said Bailey.

“I’m glad I’m in a tag team right now–Speedball Mountain–with Trent Seven. I want those tag titles. I want every title.”

“I’ve had my eye on Hammerstone for a long time,” said Bailey. “He’s a very different wrestler than Nic Nemeth, but I want to have great matches with both. Matt Hardy has a wealth of experience, too. He’s been a genius in pro wrestling for many, many years. I’m excited to see how it all works.”

“I think I’m the best in the world at my style,” said Bailey. “I’m looking forward to maximizing my minutes.”

To give a little more detail on Bailey’s contract situation, Fightful Select reports that:

Fightful Select‘s Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that as of now, “Speedball” Mike Bailey is signed with TNA Wrestling through the end of 2024.

It’s expected that upon possible free agency, he’ll have interest from multiple suitors, as well as TNA Wrestling itself.

Bailey is a two-time X Division champion, and has had many notable matches. Most recently, Mil Bailey wrestled AEW star Will Ospreay at TNA Bound For Glory PPV back in October of 2023.

TNA has recently been signing and re-signing talent, such as Hammerstone, Mike Santana, Jonathan Gresham, Steve Maclin, and Ace Austin. The company also picked up an option year for former and longest reigning World Champion, Josh Alexander.

TNA fans hope that Mike Bailey will be added to that list and will not even hit free agency.
