Moments ago via the TNA iMPACT broadcast, it was revealed that Xia Brookside would take on Ash By Elegance next week.
Former Busted Open Radio producer Gabby Laspisa was In the ring talking about her podcast GABBY AF and how she likes to interview interesting talent from the wrestling business. Ash By Elegance’s personal Concierge George Iceman interrupts and says he has the perfect person for her to interview. Ash makes her way out to the ring.
A video plays of Ash trying to use a pair of brass knuckles that looked like jewelry and then was rolled up by Xia Brookside when the referee caught her and took them from Ash. Ash is made that her jewelry was taken from her, but Gabby says that after a long talk with TNA management, they all decided that Ash can get her jewelry back if she beats Xia Brookside next week.
Earlier in the night, Matt Hardy crashed the System’s “Championship Celebration”, and almost paid dearly for it as they beat him down and were going to slam a chair into the chair around his neck. Ryan Nemeth made the save, attacking each member with a kendo stick and clearing the ring.
Backstage, The System was furious and demanded that Santino do something about what just happened. Santino says he has a game-changing announcement coming up later in the show.
Santino booked a HUGE 16 person tag team match for next week, and dubbed it the “Champions Challenge”. All 8 champions (Moose, Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, Masha Slamovich, Alisha Edwards, Mustafa Ali, Laredo Kid, & Jordynne Grace) will take on a team of 8 challengers. Those competitors will consist of: Jody Threat, Dani Luna, Ryan Nemeth, Matt Hardy, Sami Callihan, Eric Young, Joe Hendry, and Steph De Lander.
Will the Champions come out victorious, or will the challengers come away with the upset? Are there stakes on the line for this match? We’ll have to tune in next week to find out.
