The New Japan Pro-Wrestling Best of Super Jr. 31 got underway on May 11th at the YohaS Arena in Chiba with the top juniors in pro wrestling competing in the prestigious tournament.

Ninja Mack and HAYATA, who are representing Pro Wrestling NOAH, got off to strong starts on May 11th as they each won their opening matches of the tournament. Both NOAH stars were making their debuts in the NJPW BOSJ competition.

Ninja Mack faced a tough opponent in his first match up as he squared off against Robbie Eagles. Mack was able to score a pinfall win over Eagles in just over six minutes with a cradle cutback. Mack had these comments following his victory over Eagles:

“Robbie Eagles lost today, but regardless of the outcome, he is a great wrestler. I would like to invite anyone. Ninja Mack is waiting for those who want to come to NOAH and put their title on the line. Bet on Ninja Mack!”
